Sing to the LORD, you saints of his; praise his holy name…that my heart may sing to you and not be silent. O lord my God, I will give you thanks forever. Pslam 30:4;12
We continue to thank each and every one of you for your commitment and dedication through your prayers and support in partnering with us in reaching the nations with the gospel message of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ.
2010 ended with God doing awesome work in people’s lives as many continue in obedience through baptism, opening doors in communities where there is no gospel, and we began 2011 with Him being our Guide and Way in walking in those communities. Some have accepted us well while others seem to continue in their darkness as we face opposition. We steadfast continue to trust in His sovereignty and Lordship.
Prayers and praises: 1. We thank and give praise to God for FBC Clanton, AL for their partnership with us as we work in the Nabon area and surrounding communities. Your visit in January was a blessing and helped get in to those hard unreached communities. We now have the blessing of future and continuous visits with the hope of starting at least 3 new house churches in the near future.
2. To God be the glory for the family of four being baptized from Cochapata and through their testimony and opportunity to start a home Bible study with the owners of the hostal in Playa where the baptisms took place. Eight other baptisms were taking place simultaneously in Zhud and Pucango and others in other communities throughout the Provinces of Chimborrazo, Canar, and Azuay . Pray for these new believers and their faithfulness to continue being a light and many house churches can begin as a result.
3. Pray for the prison ministry Anna is involved with six other Christian women. It is difficult to minister their because of the surroundings and all the noise. But God seems to always provide the means and atmosphere where through songs, crafts and sharing of God’s Word a few women are able to hear and seem to be responding.
4. Prayer for Al, Bob and Peggy as they work with the staff and parents of the deaf and blind school in Cuenca. The first meeting with the staff went very well as the foundation was established and all agreed the teachings for the parents and in raising and teaching obedience to their children would be Biblically based and using some material from Focus in the Family with Dr. James Dobson. May many open their hearts and complete surrender to our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ.
5. Pray for planning of volunteer teams partnering with us to reach the unreached communities. There is a lot of persecution and darkness where the Lord is leading us to go. May we live out His promises as we proclaim the dominion God has given man in Pslam 8 …O LORD, how majestic is your name in all the earth. Psalm 16:1 Keep me safe, O God, for in you I take refuge…
6. Continued prayer for David (JM) as he works with various youth groups in discipling and encouraging them in getting involved in missions. Plans are to get them partner with us when we have volunteer teams so they may learn and eventually they do the same. This will allow us and the volunteers groups to focus in other areas.
7. For continued spiritual growth and freedom in Christ to live the promised abundant life He promised to those couples being discipled by Anna and Al. That as they grow, they can disciple others. Much of this is needed in many of the leaders.
8. Rejoice with us in all of His blessings.

Thank you Lord, it is all worth it for You.

Braulios grandma 91 years old. It is amazing at her age how she goes up and down this mountains taking care of her sheep then walking to the house church.

Here we go to the house church up and down the mountain. Boy it's hard to breath up here at this high altitude. So this is how it was done by the new believers in Acts. Walking everywhere but it is good exercise. Can't wait to get to the house.

Wow! There is a livestock market, let's go in there and see if we can find men of peace.

Pray for these teachers from Cochapata as they have opened up their hearts have requested we return and help teach God's Word.

Jenny is doing an awesome job teaching kids as Clanton team helps and encourages.

Bobby enjoying working with the little ones inn Cochapata

Kids enjoy being with David

On the way to way to Cochapata. Just like going to grandmother's house.

Bobby looking for more kids and found some.

Hey, can I come and join you? Looks like fun.

Thank you FBC Clanton Alabama for partnering with us and the few believers in Nabon and Ayaloma. You have been very instrumental in how God has opened doors and opportunities for sharing the gospel in schools and communities where there is no evangelical work. T was great to see the youth get involved and watch them in one of their Ag class. We have been invited by some youth to have some talks with them about youth issues they are going through. Alcoholism, sex, and abandonment is a big problem in these rural communities. As the children were blessed with you r presence and loving them, the adults are opening their hearts and eager to hear God's Word. Though we do face some opposition in some communities, we trust in the victory we have in Jesus and His sovereignty.

Gets foggy on the way to Iltuz. But finally we get to the top at almost 11,000 ft above sea level. We praise god for the mountain tops.

Zamora, gate to southern part of Ecuador's jungles.

Jim is willing to try the crown but don't think he can do it. It will hurt! Can't imagine what Jesus felt and went through.

What a blessing to see a family follow in obedience through baptism. Miguel and his family after listening to God's Word for about a year with Gonzalo, gave testimony of belonging to the family of God and has committed to lead a house church in Cochapata where a new family opened the doors for a Bible Study. Pray for their commitment and boldness to stand firm where there are only two Christian families.

Please pray for the community of Rodeo we have just begun to visit for the first time. The water is contaminated and we are praying for a better water system and the opportunity to witness to the people through it. They have submitted a project work order to the county several years ago but nothing is being done. The people are continually being sick.

Thank you for giving seeds as they have been a blessing in openning doors and opportunities to share the gospel. We are seeing the fruits both spiritual and as we watch the cabbage, lettuce carrots and corn grow.

Please pray for the teachers Elena, Eulalia, Mercedes, Carmita and principle at the deaf and blind school in Cuenca as Al ministers and witnesses to them and the parents of the students.

Fletcher witnessing to young boys as he gets his shoes shined.
