With all prayer and petition pray at all times in the Spirit, and with this in view, be on the alert with all perseverance and petition for all the saints, 19and pray on my behalf, that utterance may be given to me in the opening of my mouth, to make known with boldness the mystery of the gospel, 20for which I am an ambassador £in chains; that in proclaiming it I may speak boldly, as I ought to speak. Eph 6:18-20

There no words to express our gratitude for all your prayers and support in many ways. We pray you will stay faithful to His high calling that His gospel message will be taken and heard to every nation, every people of every tribe and language. We praise God for what He is doing through all of you, here with us and around the world. We also want to thank you for being patient in waiting for our update since our last one was at the beginning of the year. please enjoy the pictures and His work.

April 2010 Prayer Request
1. Continued prayer for the new house church that started in Ayaloma a community the Parroquia of Nabon. Daniel, the father committed to start weekly discipleship training that he may be the husband father and leader he needs to be not only for his family but for the surrounding communities. Pray that the family will stay faithful through the persecutions that may be expected.
2. Pray for a new Bible study in a home in Sigsig that was supposed to start in Feb. The owner of a restaurant has opened his home and is searching for God. There are only a handful of other believers with no church. There are a lot of obstacles and much spiritual warfare. Continue to join us in prayer that there will be a new house church plant in Sigsig and that home will be light to the community in darkness.
3. Please pray for Lucas, Felix, David and Al as they will attempt again to travel to Huangra on April 1st and 2nd to seek opportunity to share the gospel and with the hope of taking a medical team in November. We have been praying for Huangra a community of 300 people for over three years and there are no believers. This will be the first visit of any Christian presence. In the past we have been prevented from going due to bad weather, other commitments and last month’s attempt was due to Felix’s health. May God be glorified through all as we continue to walk with him and wait trust in His divine time.
4. Continue to pray for Elizabeth M, a youth summer missionary staying with Al & Anna. She is visiting different schools and teaching English. Pray for her boldness and opportunities to share the Gospel to the young girls through her teaching and as she builds relationships.
5. Continue to pray for Al’s sister (Margie) who is still battling cancer. We thank you so much for praying for her as it is God’s grace that is helping her through it for the past three years.
6. Continue to pray for the Counseling Institute on Saturdays. Pray that the students will continue to strive to prepare for the need of lay counseling.
7. Pray for Douglas, a waiter whom we met at a local restaurant who just recently turned to Christ and surrendered his life to His Lordship. Pray for his faithfulness and that he stay strong as he invites his friends and that the Bible study at his house will result in a house church of young believers.
8. Pray for Lucas, David and Al as they lead a group of 35 leaders from Guigra, Chunchi, Gomzol, Iltuz and Tolte in a time of therapy and discipleship once a month. There is much hurt, unforgivness and sexual immorality. Much healing is needed for the leadership to lead by example and growth of God’s kingdom.
9. Pray for a struggling church in San Jose, the canton of Santa Isabel. Pray for Al to have wisdom and strength as he encourages the leadership to stay faithful and true to the doctrine.
10. Pray for possibility of showing the movie The Passion of Christ on Easter Sunday in Tuctoc and surrounding communities where there are no believers and we have done some prayer walking. May God open the doors for His good news of the truth and His light to reach the hearts of the many living in darkness and deception.
After a wonderful worship experience, we went to enjoy God's beautiful creation at a waterfall near Giron and spend time in prayer and thanksgiving for His resurrection Anna, Elizabeth and David enjoyed the walk through the trail, though it was a little chilly and wet.

Little Carlos his brother and sister share God's Word followed by thanking and praising God with a Hymn and their favorite song. Pray for this small church that is in a very remote place about 1 hour and a half from the nearest town in the Southern Andeas. Pray that God may raise these three young children as they are taught God's Word to answer a calling to missions.

One of my favorite times is when we go to a river to celebrate our Lord JC. Worshiping in the open air, witnessing and enjoying sharing God's Word with some humor is a joy. Especially when we see God at work through His Word and HS touching and transforming lives. A young man Manuel, gave his life tom Christ while another man asked God for forgiveness and changed his mind about wanting to leave his wife and children to go to the USA in search of work for prosperity. God is so good at what He does. Then came the obedience of some of the new believers in following in baptism giving testimony of now belonging to the family of God. We all have new brothers and sisters. Praise God! Wow! but we can't celebrate without a meal. It's great to watch and join in on the what the Quechua call the "mesapamba". Everyone brings some food, lay some sheets on the ground, place all the food on the sheets, pray giving thanks to God and dig in with no utensils. The rice, chicken, pork, "cuy", potatoes, and mote(Hommany) is not bad.

Anna leading some women in Tambo in prayer and time of devotion and the role of the wife in the marriage and family. Please pray for the Quechua women as they come form a very difficult and abusive background. They have lots of pain and unforgiveness but are crying out to Jesus to free them from the past and enjoy the abundant life found only in Christ.

We ask you continue to pray for some friends. Rosanna who was our tudor when we first arrived and her husband Diego as we continue to strengthened the relationships that one day they will open their hearts to ask Jesus to Lord over their lives. I have to use all God given skills, even milking cows. Do everything as unto the Lord with smile.

Linda, the Ecuador missionary family say thank you and appreciate your service to the work of the Lord. You are very much appreciated.
Thank you hermano Lucas with your family honoring Linda and saying thank you Linda for her commitment and 25 years to the people in Ecuador especially the Canari Quechua. thank you

Wow! Where ever we can fit to get to the festival of carnival days. Amazing what people will do to get to a place to have some fun. Wish people would feel the same way about gathering for celebrating Jesus and wanting to get to know Him.

Pray of the provinces of Azuay, Canar and part of Chimborrazo and the 1500 Communities for Christ: Healthy churches, obedient to the Lordship of Jesus Christ, pleasing to God, who disciple and take care of their members, who bless and impact their communities for good, and who carry the gospel to other places.

Pray for pastor Francisco and his family from Guigra. They have had to move with 4 times with the past year. They don't have a place of their own and been a struggle to care and provide for a family of 9. Also pray as he commits to leave leave his family behind for one week every 2 months to travel 3 hours to attend seminary extension courses. Also the church is in the process of paying for their property so they can start building to have a place to meet for worship.

Clint sharing a special song "People Need The Lord" with Nueva Vida Baptist Church in Biblian. Pastor Steve preached and later Pastor Don shared and encouraged couples about family relationships, values and allowing JC to Lord over our marriages and families while David , Anna and Joe ministered to the children. Please continue to pray for pastor Honorato who is the founder of the church and over 80% of the congregation are people who were persecuting him and early believers. Pray for about 30 young people who are going through some leadership and discipleship training and pastor Steve had an opportunity to encourage them.

Prayer walking at Leonardo's house and neighborhood with EBC prayer warriors. We ask you pray for Leonardo's mother's salvation.

Pastor Steve, thank you for leading our missionary prayer retreat. It was a much needed blessing and and enjoyed the time with new missionaries. It gave us a refreshed spirit and helped us refocus on the Great Commission that all peoples will hear the gospel message. Thank you for bringing the team along to encourage us. We also pray for you and all our partnering prayer warriors and those who support in one way or another.

Join us in prayer as we ask God to lead us to people of peace and open doors for the gospel message to reach the communities of Ludo, La Paz and all communities overlooking from the mountain top that have no evangelical work. Thank you EBC for joining us. May the Lord reap the harvest and raise up leaders.

Pray for the owner of this restaurant (Jose) and his family. We had the privilege of having a meal at his restaurant with the opportunity to share with him about God. He agreed and committed to open his home for a Bible study. There are only about fifteen believers in the community of Sigsig. Lord, may you use us as your instruments to start a house church in Jose's home.

We thank God for the opportunity to start a new house church with the family of Daniel in Ayaloma. Praise God for the witnessing and faithfulness of his daughters Alicia and Elsa we are now able to worship in their home praying for the surrounding communities. Please pray for Daniel as we have also started a discipleship time with him to prepare him to be the leader he feels God calling him to be. Thanks David and Joe for helping with the children as the adults are being taught God's Word.

Thank you EBC for coming to encourage and join us in prayer walking to the various communities. Also don thank you for the encouragement of leading our students of the lay counseling institute go through an introduction of Search for Significance. Many comments in helping them deal with personal issues. Thanks Linda for translating.

Pray for pastor Dionisio and wife Maria as they strengthened their relationship and lead their church to have a vision to reach out of their comfort zone to other communities with the gospel.

Pray for the community of Chunazana and it's surrounding communities as they are immersed in darkness and idol worshipping with a mixture of animism. Ask the Lord to open doors and lead us to men of peace where we can share the gospel and people will begin to give their hearts to the Lord JC instead of giving what little they have to fasle gods.
