Thank you for being a part of our lives and ministry to which our Lord has called us.
What a wonderful day when His promise is fulfilled and we will all be singing ..."Holy, holy, holy is the Lord God Almighty, who was, and is, and is to come." 11 “Worthy are You, our Lord and our God, to receive glory and honor and power; for You created all things, and because of Your will they existed, and were created.” We will be, saying with a loud voice,“Worthy is the Lamb that was slain to receive power and riches and wisdom and might and honor and glory and blessing.” “To Him who sits on the throne, and to the Lamb, be blessing and honor and glory and dominion forever and ever.” Rev 4:8,11; 5:12,13.

VBS for Iglesia Jesus El Pan De Vida held at Ministerios CASA was a big success. There were over 60 children attending every day from the local neighborhood. The majority came from very strong catholic and other backgrounds. We praise God for the faithful workers who boldly shared and planted the seed of the gospel message. We are praying there will be a strong follow up that the seed planted will also reach the parents of the children. God receives all the glory. Anna led in prayer daily followed by some music and puppets before going to the different age group Bible studies. The theme for the week was 'We are more then conquerors in Christ Jesus." The Glory belongs to Him.
Thank you for your prayers specially on Anna's birthday. We were able to spend a little time at the beach in between the busy schedule with Pastor David and his family. Anna really enjoyed her birthday jumping and fighting the waves. We continue to stand at awe at God's marvelous works. Praise His Glorious Name.
Praise God for twenty couples that attended the marriage conference in Pasaje. It was lot's of fun as couples gathered to learn how to walk closer with God as couples and how to apply His teachings to build on the marriage relationships. It was also an opportunity to share the gospel with five new couples that for the first time attended an evangelical event or church. Keep them in your prayers as they seek to fulfill God's purpose in their marriages.
We praise God for opening doors and allowing us to lead a new family to walk and seek a relationship with our Lord. The young couple, Alejandro and Maria are now the only Christians in this community way up in the mountains about 4 1/2 hours from Cuenca. pastor Lucas, his wife, and Bencicio joined Al spending a day with them praying and confirming their decision for Christ. Everyone joined in the preparation of the meal. Alejandro has gone through a lot of persecution as he has been seeking a new life in Christ. Pray for Guapcaz and it's people that through this family, a new church start can take place.
Please be in prayer for the community of Nueva Jerusalèn where there are no evangelicals that God will allow us to share to those who leads us to. Socartes in the back ground and Pastor Lucas and his wife Maria Jesus. We are praying for a leader to be raised up and reach out to small group of believers and the outlying communities.
The annual meeting was a time spent being refreshed with the fellowship of the other missionaries and our leadership. Getting to know them was fun as some participated in the Newly Wed Game even though most have spent years in marriage. It was hilarious. We also enjoyed the great preaching and teaching brought by Dr Bob Garret and Dr Jay Jackson. The volunteer deaf team shared how they through drama do evangelism.
Primera Iglesia de Cuenca was blessed with the volunteer team from Houston, TX. A combination of a deaf team, puppets, evangelism and Christian counseling was provided. The gospel message was spread through the various newspapers, radio stations, local television station and family conferences held at schools, youth detention center, and Cuenca's civic center. Primera Iglesia also spent some time honoring the fathers during Father's Day after receiving a message brought by Dr Tom King from Houston, TX. Also much focus was on the youth as they struggle with different issues similar and influences of the world.
We enjoyed the blessing of participating in Jewish Supper with a local body of believers and an opportunity to invite non-believers and sharing the gospel message. Pastor Freddy enjoys teaching the biblical understanding of the the Lord's last supper and the meaning of the elements of the foods served.
