"I will praise you, O Lord, with all my heart; I will tell of your wonders. I will be glad and rejoice in you; I will sing praise to your name, O Most High." Psalm 9:1-2
Blessings in the month of April as God continues to show Himself through his love and faithfulness. We continue to thank you so much for all of your support and prayers as we all seek to reach out a lost world for His Kingdom. We are now approaching some busy times with volunteer medical, construction and more medical teams coming where we will be going to communities with no gospel. Expecting to see the blessings from above.
Prayer needs.
1. Continued prayer for Linda's mom's health and Al's sister Margie as she continues in her battle with lung cancer.
2. As God has been preparing the vol teams and the people that will be ministered to, we will be sensitive to the HS's guidance to share the love of Christ and his gospel message.
3. The excitement of those who attended the SC planting conference led by Calvin and Devora Morris, will continue with application in their lives to disciple new believers.
4. New doors to open in communities near Huigra for the gospel.
5. Strength, wisdom and deeper compassion for Anna, Al, and Linda as we continue to seek where God would lead us in new communities.
6. Continued prayer for doors to open at a secular radio station where we can have an opportunity to share the Good News.
7. As God uses the vol teams, the nationals will have a burning desire to follow up with the souls who will be willing to hear and draw unto the Almighty.
8. Plans for marriage conferences using Love and Respect and other material as a tool to strengthened, restore broken and hurting relationships to both Christians and draw unbelievers to the author of family.
9. Anyone led to come and join us in prayer walks where there is no gospel, please contact us.
10. Thank you Jesus.

Towards the end of April Al was able to go to Huigra and spend a couple of days in prayer for the surrounding communities with no gospel and encourage the local fellowship of believers. Shared on family relationships and the our calling to be the Light shining in a dark world. Lots of idolatry, alcohol and living ungodly lives that can testify Christianity. Many people come and worship the idol on the mountainside. Please keep in prayer Pastor Fransisco Tamay, his wife and a family of 8 children. Pastor Francisco is the man in the back and in the front is one of the leaders (Aurelio). He has struggled in encouraging the local body of believers but has a heart for the people.
What an awesome opportunity to give testimony through baptisms. Iglesia Jesùs El Pan de Vida celebrated baptisms at a local river in Cuenca followed by a worship service and a day of sharing provisions fun and games. It is encouraging to see Christians apply what they learn. Storying and drama is already being used by some of the attendees. They are grasping and exciting of a different way of worshipping. We pray this excitement will continue.
We were also blessed and had some time to take some of the conference attendees to a local museum. It was a special treat fro them as they had never been to one and they too learned a much of the Ecuadorian history and culture. It was a time of building relationships and a little relaxing. Oh, also the out doors was great and saw some beautiful birds.
The second session was also a success and everyone was excited. Lot's of involvement in the storying through drama. There was some time spent on mapping out their communities with their outlying communities where there is no evangelical work. A detail plan for the next three months was detailed with prayer walking being the first priority. In between sessions we took advantage of meeting prayer needs and some one on one counseling. of course the time during the meals was special as everyone was able to get to know each other. Specially the group from Ambato with Tio David.

Blessings were received in April as Calvin and his wife Devora Morris came from Santiago, Chile to lead in a Strategic Church Planting training and story telling. We had a great attendance in two different sessions with pastors and leaders from communities from Pasaje, Ecuador a southern coastal community to Ambato a north central community in Ecuador. Small group praise, praying bible storying and drama was learned and practiced in sharing the gospel. Participants were both from Mestizo and Quechua communities encouraged by Revelation chapter 4 and 5 when all living creature in heaven and on earth and under the earth and on the sea and all that is in them will be singing praising and worshiping Him who sits on the throne.
Al busy leading a small group on leadership from Iglesia El Buen Pastor in Tambo. We also enjoy worshiping at small churches like in Sunicoral. The children's choir are well disciplined and memorize Scripture after every song. It is good to see the adult choir participating. Everyone is given an opportunity to join with songs or testimonies.
