T.I.M.E. Ministries from Huntsville, AL were a tremendous blessing to all the communities, schools, parks and churches as they allow God to use them. They travel to different countries every six weeks taking the gospel message through creative arts. It helps the people better understand as they visualize the impact sin has in our lives and how the only way is through Jesus. John 14:6 ..."I am the way and the truth and the life. No one comes to the Father except through me..." Their visit was well rewarded by the many decisions made and lives changed as they surrendered to the Lordship of Jesus Christ. Pastor Dick had Al very busy translating the Good News.

Three schools in Azoguez were visited where many children were not only entertained, but the gospel message was presented to them through the puppets, music, and drama. Teachers were very moved in the way the gospel was presented through the drama and asked for an opportunity to be visited by the local pastor. Pastor Juan Diego teaches music in all three schools and will be staying busy sharing with both students and teachers one on one.

The morning was spent in teaching how to work with puppets, drama and music at Ministerios C.A.S.A. in Cuenca. In the afternoon the puppets, drama and music were taken to the street where passerbyes and the community were invited to come enjoy some fun while the gospel message was presented. Larry also did relationship building one-on-one with a little girl to prepare her to hear the Good News of Jesus and how much He loves her.
Children gather around near the market place in Tambo as they hear the gospel message through puppets and drama. A great way to attract attention, as people walked by they were curious and would stop and ask questions. The good news of Jesus was shared as the seed of God was planted while others were harvested. Praise the Lord for a nun who saw the truth and the light and surrendered her life to Jesus. Please pray for her.
During the first week of Sept was a special time as we had T.I.M.E. Ministries from Huntsville, AL join us in different communities and churches teaching on Evangelism and church planting through creative arts, puppets, drama, and music. It was a very long but fruitful week as many children and adults heard the gospel message for the first time in schools, parks and streets. PTL many decisions for Christ were made. Al translates for pastor Dick as Doug illustrates in the drama there is no other way to eternal life other than through Jesus Christ. Teachings took place in Tambo a new established church where we spent two days teaching different ways of attracting people to hear the gospel message.

Al had an opportunity to speak at the Teologico Bautista de Ecuador in Quito held by the Ecuador Baptist Convention where pastors and lay leaders from all over Ecuador gathered to hear Theological Doctrinal teachings. Special speakers were professors from Argentina, Ecuador Baptist Seminary, and OK Baptist University. It was also a time of meeting new friends and getting acquainted with some of the other pastors and leaders to find ways of ministering together to reach Ecuador for Christ. In the center picture, pastor Honorato (center) shared some of his experiences during his 27 persecutions while starting the church he pastors in Cachigalhuai. I want to thank you for your prayers during that time.

Every now and then we need to get away. There are special places we go to pray, have a picnic and reflect on what God is doing and planning for the the coming months and volunteer teams. Linda and Mark prepare the shelter while Sherry, Ligia and Pastor Raul from Giron enjoy just relaxing and sharing. Al is always staying busy this time preparing some food for the team and enjoying God's creation.

It was a beautiful day to celebrate the 35th anniversary of Primera Iglesia Bautista de Cuenca. The celebration took place at a park by the river in Paute about 45 minutes from Cuenca. The days activities began with prayer, time of worship testimonies and a message by Pastor Vicente Miranda. Following the worship time, everyone had fun as they participated in fun and games, relaxing and enjoying the blessings of God. There were lots of games for all ages as they worked an appetite for a big potluck meal. One of the highlights is knowing that all the evangelical work in the provinces of Azuay and Cañar along with 8 Quechua churches in the US and extended to Europe are the fruits of the faithful over the years from this particular church.

Thank you so much for your prayers and remembering me (Anna) on my birthday. It was a real blessing and surprise for me as Al set up a special time at a very special place overlooking the city of Cuenca. I am enjoying this special time with special people we minister with. As I (Anna)and Al entered the restaurant, I was serenated by the sweet music of violin played by Pastor Vicente and his son Caleb. Thank you Lord for the sweet blessings you continue to pour on my life. May you receive the richest heavenly blessings from our Lord and Savior.
