Oct & Nov 2012 Updates

I want to take some time to express my heart of prayer and gratitude to all of you. So please take a moment and read my heart. As the holiday season has arrived, may you be safe and full of His joy reflecting His glory unceasingly. Also to encourage each one of you as we continue to partner to what God has called us as a body. Seek Him with all your heart in how He would have you continue to partner with us and in giving to the LMO. For it is through all of you, what you do and give that makes it possible foe us to do what we do here. May He multiply and abundantly shower you with His blessings. The following is just what I feel and is extracted from Wisdom Hunter’s Devotion ending with our praises and prayer requests:

Thankful Prayers:
“We always thank God for all of you and continually mention you in our prayers.” 1 Thessalonians 1:2

Prayers of thanksgiving bring a smile to the face of God. He delights in hearing His children express to heaven their gratitude for their sisters and brothers on earth. Jesus expects His followers to not just tolerate one another, but to celebrate each other’s uniqueness. A prayer of thanksgiving for another needy soul grows a heart of love for souls. Consistent prayers of gratitude gets God’s attention and moves His heart to bless, forgive and love.
We all need prayer; prayer for wisdom, prayer for solutions, prayer for healing, prayer for forgiveness, prayer for reconciliation, prayer for salvation, prayer for God’s will, prayer for strength, prayer for faith, prayer for courage, prayer for work and prayer for patience. How grateful we soon become, when we reflect on friends who lift us to the Lord with passionate petitions. We thank God for those precious souls who pray for our soul care.
“We ought always to thank God for you, brothers and sisters, and rightly so, because your faith is growing more and more, and the love all of you have for one another is increasing.” 2 Thessalonians 1:3
Do you thank Christ regularly for those whose faith is on fire? Are you grateful to God for the grace of God that is ever growing in your community of faith? Those who boldly bear a beautiful banner for Jesus need our serious prayer support. The enemy rages against the righteous who are engaged in eternal issues: justice for the poor, education for the ignorant, church planting, job training, discipleship and food for the hungry.
Your grateful prayers to God garner good will for those executing God’s will. Thank Him for their trust that perseveres through persecution. Thank Jesus for those who share Jesus with words and deeds. Thank your heavenly Father for the fathers and mothers who model compassion, love, leadership and the nurturing of their children. Thank Him for single adults who hope in Christ and who serve unselfishly in His name. Gratitude prays!
“I always thank my God as I remember you in my prayers, because I hear about your love for all his holy people and your faith in the Lord Jesus.” Philemon 1:4-5
Prayer: Heavenly Father, thank You for the passionate prayers of Your people.

People on way to Devil's ZNose

Praying for people as we drive to the devil's nose. It was very interesting to learn the history and why they call the tip of the of the bottom of that mountain the devil's nose. There is so much darkness and many myths that people actually believe in them and are so lost. We need fervent prayer for them and as God softens hearts, to send some faithful believers to witness to them.

Sept 2012 Ecuador Updates

Sept 2012 Prayer and Praise Update

Greetings and blessings in the name our Lord Jesus Christ. We thank you so much for your faithfulness through your prayers, generous giving and support ion so many ways for the cause of God’s kingdom. I pray you are all doing well along with your families and church families. Anna and I have been back for a month settling in and getting back to our normal ministry and we appreciate so much all of your prayers and support. It's been a very busy time with tremendous opportunities to reach out to both the saved and unsaved. Much time has been spent on the road to the various communities and finally getting some time to catch up on the logistics and admin part of the ministry.
Prayer request:
1. Strength and health to fulfill God’s calling during this next term and wisdom to be spirit lead in all decisions. To know and walk with God encouraging the believers and take the gospel message with boldness and clarity to communities where there is no evangelical work that the lost may come to know him as their LORD and Savior.

2. My (Al’s) father and mother’s health. My father has been diagnosed with Alzheimer and is quickly advancing. He is becoming very weak. He has been the caretaker for my mother but now they are both getting to the point of needing 24 hr care. Pray for wisdom in decisions needed to be made.

3. Prayer for the women’s prison ministry, the volunteers to boldly and compassionately continue to share the gospel and encourage the women as one can only imagine the daily struggles and spiritual war they face. Pray for spiritual growth for those being discipled that they be firmly rooted and grounded in God’s Word and promises.

4. Pray for the pastors and leaders being trained at the Bible Institute inn Tambo to walk In holiness even through the struggles they face in ministry. That they will have a burning desire to reach out to neighboring communities and beyond with the gospel ,message. That their hearts will be burning for and fulfilling the Great Commission.
5. Started a home Bible study with a family of 2 doctors, 2 pharmacists, and two dentist. The father had some years back began to study to become a priest but was disillusioned. He is beginning open his heart to seeking God’s truth and learn how to be the spiritual leader and head of the household.
6. A group of ten young people will be going on a mission trip to Africa. This is answered prayer and some believers are beginning to grasp our purpose and being enslaved to the Lordship of Christ. Pray for their safe travels and that they will be lead by God’s spirit as they share the gospel. That they will know God’s presence every moment and allow God’s power to enable them to be lights in a dark world.
7. Nabon is a county where two years ago we began a Bible study with a small group of ten believers confirming their faith and taking them through a discipleship time. Now they have a vision for starting a project to reach out to the communities in and around Nabon where people can be ministered to through family counseling, learn how to break the bondage of various types of abuse and most important to disciple believers in living in holiness and being an influence in their culture. Pray for through home Bible studies, a breakout of house churches will result with strong families being rooted and grounded by faith in God’s Word and promises. Pray we will be sensitive and know God’s leading in this project, protection and provisions.

8. Pray for a struggling pastor (F) as he, his family and the church are going through some heavy spiritual attack from the enemy. Ask for wisdom and strength for us and others ministering to them as we help them walk through these moments that seem so dark. Pray for the light to continue to shine and perseverance in the faith.
